My Love...Besides Peyton :)

I just wanted to post how much I am in love with this man!I don't think there is a day that goes by that he doesn't make me smile or laugh. And he is a very good singer...just ask Peyton! He always sings, but he loved singing to her when she was in my belly...like this...(I love the serious expression on his face)We can be goofy with each other...Or serious...But he would rather be goofy...He loves his family more than anything and always puts us first. He is a hard-worker, loving father, devoted husband, and my best friend! PLUS...He is seriously HOT! Haha! I love this man! This picture is from about a year and a half ago, but it's one of my favorites of him. He is always (well, for the most part) clean cut, but for some reason he was opting out of getting a haircut. Maybe he didn't want to jinx the Cowboys because they were winning at this time? Who knows! But I do know that I just love him to pieces!

Too cute not to share!

Peyton got a new toy and she LOVES it! I didn't even know they still had walkers! Well, I guess I never thought to look for them! I know it's a little boy-ish, but the other one was a cheesy pink princess one and the other was Winnie the Pooh. She cruises all over the place and it's perfect that we have so much tile because she doesn't get stopped by carpet until she starts heading into a room that she doesn't need to be in by herself anyway:)She will find the tag on anything and be more fascinated with that, than with the toy itself! I love how she is posing with her hand on her leg!Look at that little gut! Her shirt isn't too small, I had just sat her down and it raised up!

What we've been up to...

Friday night, we actually had no plans so Kenny played Call of Duty with my dad, Jeremy, and Josh. It is really funny to see him with his headset on talking to whoever he is playing with. They can hear other people playing too and he is always laughing at what they are saying. I was feeling in the mood to scrapbook...so I decided to make a calender. I figured I will take at least a few pictures a month (who am I kidding, I probably take 10 a day!) so I will just make sure I snap one on the holiday in that month. Then, next year I can just switch out the picture and print out new dates. I have been wanting to start scrapbooking more, but I never find the time to just sit and go at it. This way, I have a month to get at least one page done:) We will see how long this lasts...I have yet to finish February. Valentine's Day was only 3 days ago though:) I just have to add mine and Kenny's picture and I know P's pic is old, but I liked the colors of it on this page.Speaking of Valentine's Day, I hope everyone had a good one! We sure did! We had plans with my cousin, Josh, and his girlfriend, Brie, to go on a Gondola ride at the same place Kenny proposed, but we decided against it. Luckily, we were able to eat at BJ's Brewery without waiting at all! After dinner we went to see Valentine's Day! Very cute movie, in my opinion. This was our first time going to the movies since before P was born! We left her with my parents and even though we missed her, it was a fun date. We didn't plan to match, it just kinda happened, I swear! But we do look pretty festive:)Hi there!P's new favorite thing to do is blow raspberries! When she isn't jumping, she will rest her legs like this. She is so stinkin' cute! She loves playing in her little jumper while she watches Nick Jr. She loves the moose! She can be completely distracted from the tv playing with her toys, but as soon as she hears that moose talk, her eyes are instantly fixed on the tv. I didn't realize it until one day I picked her up to change her and as I was leaving the living room, she was moving all around in my arms and looking over my shoulders trying not to miss whatever was on the tv. Now, I will look at her during a show and she will be smiling at whatever they are saying. Especially on Yo Gabba Gabba...which to be honest I HATE that show, but she loves that guy! My personal favorite is probably Olivia. Did I just admit that?! I can't help, but laugh at how cheesy, but cute, some of the shows are. I love how they make the shows sound so educational at the beginning, when really, they are just cartoons. I don't want to sound like I am creating a little couch potato, but when I am doing stuff around the house, I have that on for her. Plus the two boys I watch a couple times a week like that channel too:)

Anyway, Peyton is getting her top teeth in! These have been giving her a little more trouble the last couple days than her bottom ones did. And it isn't even during the night. She is sleeping like a champ actually! She falls asleep about 9:00 and wakes up about 7:00 or so! The other night I did hear her on the monitor and when I went into her room she had turned on her little crib toy. It didn't seem like she was falling asleep anytime soon because that toy was bright and loud, but she was just happy as a clam singing along to it. As I was walking out to go back to bed, I realized Angus was sleeping in there. How cute, he was protecting her:)

I also started reading "Dear John". I don't really read anything except biographies, but this book has got me sucked in! I am only 5 chapters in, but I have only been reading it for a day. Brie suggested it, so I thought why not!

Kenny and some of our guys friends started playing softball again. I didn't go to their first games because they were late Tuesday night and all the way out at Red Mountain. They lost, so apparently I didn't miss much ;) (That's kinda mean of me)

Hope everyone has a great week!

7 months, Fun Times, and Mom's Birthday!

For Christmas, my parents got me and my sisters tickets to the Reba McEntire and George Strait concert on Friday night and it was awesome! Leann Womack was the opening act and she was great too! We all met at Joe's Crab Shack-delicious, by the way-then headed off to US Airways Arena. That place went CRAZY when Reba came out and even more crazy when she came out to an encore of "Fancy"-which was cool because she came out in a taxi wearing a red dress (like the music video). If any of you watch Reba (the show) you would know Barbara Jean, well she was there and did a funny little skit with Reba too.George Strait-AKA The Man! What a good lookin' cowboy...I don't care if he is 57! LOLLeann WomackMe and Kel before the concert sportin' our bibs from Joe's-we're such nerds!Me and my beautiful little sis, Hailey! It was funny because she knew the few newer songs of Reba's that I didn't and I knew all her old ones that she wasn't familiar with.Girls night out! We had awesome seats in the Lexus Suite! We had such a great time dancing and singing!
Saturday was also my mom's birthday! So this was the perfect place to celebrate with her! She LOVES Reba and George (yes, we are on a first name basis with each other haha), so it couldn't have been a better concert! Not that I needed a break from being a "mom", but it was nice knowing that Peyton was in good hands having fun with her daddy at home! We had such a blast! Thank you so much mom and dad for such a great night! Saturday, Hailey had a tournament so we spent my mom's birthday at the ball field. Of course she didn't mind, as long as we were all together! Peyton enjoying some ice cream celebrating grandma's birthday!Superbowl Sunday! Even though our boys didn't make it all the way, we still showed them some love! It was a pretty good game to watch and I didn't care really one way or the other, but I am happy for my sister who is a Saints fan!Can you believe that I am 7 months today! Here are some pictures from the last week or so. Well, hello there!I got a big girl carseat! I can't use it until I am 20 pounds though, but I think I'm pretty close! Isn't it pretty!I think I am about over this baby bath tub, mom and dad! When can I move on to the real one?Peyton is getting so big everyday! I cant believe our little sweet p is 7 months! She is getting better and better at crawling. I give her time everyday on her stomach and she can pretty much do everything, except crawl forward. She will end up away from her toys by rolling around and scooting backwards, but it's just hard for her to get back to them so she gets frustrated! That's okay though, I don't really want her to start crawling just yet because then it's on to walking! She is so charismatic and will smile at everyone, but if you take her out of mine or Kenny's arms, it's all over but the cryin'! She loves her mommy and daddy;) She is finally getting more hair and still hates getting dressed:) She loves to gives "kisses" and she likes to bite/suck my chin...she only does it for a sec and usually it's when someone is holding her and I take her. Kelli always makes fun like she is saying "wait, is that you mom, let me check, okay it's really you." It's really funny! We love her so much and she is just the most precious thing.

Great Grandpa Ed

Sadly, my great grandpa passed away last week so we had to make a quick little trip to California on Monday. It has been about a year and a half since Kenny and I last visited him. He has been waiting patiently for a couple of years now to be with my great grandma Helen again and now he is finally where he wants to be. I do not do well with viewings, but my family says he looked good, so I will take their word for it. One of my last memories of him I want to remember is the afternoon we were at their house and he was surrounded by family and friends having a great time... When we were younger we loved going to see them. My grandpa would take us over to the park right next to their house and let us help him lock it up for the night. We thought we were the coolest because our grandpa was in charge of the park :) He was a member of the shriners and I remember going to football games, parties, and other fun events. Some of my best memories as a child was going to visit and luckily I will always have them.
This weekend went too fast like they always do! Katie, Kelli, Peyton, and I had a girls night at the salon on friday. Later, we ordered pizza with the guys and stayed up past midnight just talking, gossiping, laughing and playing with P. Saturday, we had a birthday party at Freestone for my little cousin Ryder, who turned 2! Katie and Jake met us there and off we went to Hailey's tournament which they ended up getting 3rd place. Sunday, we went to dinner at Kenny's parents and heard some good news...Kenny's brother, Rod, is getting married! Karen is so sweet and I am so excited to have her for a sister-in-law!
Happy Birthday Ryder! (He is the one in the middle)Peyton watching Auntie Hailey play softball...This fast pitch is much more exciting than your slow pitch, mom and dad!I got to get me some of this McDonald's coke! It's good stuff! We were going to watch Saturday Night Live, but there were a couple of party poopers who fell asleep too early! On our way to California. You guys are gonna make me sit by this crazy lady?! Well alright, I guess...We had to pull over and stretch for a few minutes.Drunk and underage...this doesn't look like safe driving!
