No News...(I guess is good news)

Not that we are getting discouraged because she will have to come sooner or later, but c'mon Peyton Lynn! She is already stubborn-I know, like her mom:) You are just too comfy in there and your daddy and I want to see your beautiful face! We had another appointment yesterday and I am still not dilated! Her heartbeat sounds great though so no complaints there and she is still jabbing her little fist, elbow, or maybe even a knee out of the left side of my stomach all the time. It's really kinda freaky because it looks like a golf ball when she leaves it there. She moves all the time and gets the hiccups everyday! I have been getting more contractions throughout the the days...a little uncomfortable, but they don't last too long. Our appointment is one day earlier this week than what it usually is because of 4th of July weekend! We'll let you know what happens!

After our appointment we saw Transformers! It was ok, but I liked the first one better. Kenny has been waiting so long to see this and I think the pregnancy has made it come quicker than what he thought. Since the time we found out I was pregnant he has been saying that he just hopes she holds out until after the movie comes out so we have one last official date:)

Kenny also had a game and they won! 10-3! Way to go YoungGuns!

Still Waitin' for Peyton!

We had another appointment on Friday and STILL NOTHING! Saturday, Kenny and I just hung around the house for most of the day, but we got a lot accomplished. I was finishing up washing the rest of her clothes and blankets and organizing the closet and Kenny was cleaning out and vacuuming the truck to install the car seat! Which was definitely a good thing because I had a contraction! I asked Kenny to feel if he thought it was my whole stomach that was hard...I know I can feel too, and I thought it was, but I just wanted some verification:) His response was, "yeah it is (with somewhat of a nervous look on his face) well, lets time it to see if you have another one." So, it was 3:57 and I just went about my business...A little later I had another one and I told him. We looked at the clock and it was 4:20. He remembers everything the doctors say so he tells me in a little bit of a panicked voice, "okay drink 60 ounces of water in the next 20 minutes and go lay down on your left side." I go into lay down and here he comes with both fingers pointing at me while saying, "I am gonna shower-just in case," with a grin on his face, "then after that I am gonna pack your bag." Yes, I know I should have it ready by now, but I can't put my make-up in it yet, or my toothbrush, and everyday toiletries like this. For the most part it's ready though:) After that I didn't have anymore until later when we went to Target and Michael's. Then I started to feel them again. We came home and watched Seven Pounds, good movie by the way, we relaxed and I only felt a couple more the rest of the night. so I think just me being up and moving around this whole day really triggered these contractions. But it was fun and scary and exciting all at the same time! Here I am at 37 weeks and 4 days! I am just growing everyday it seems like and it just keeps going straight out!

Kenny and Kelli had another game on Friday and they won! It was close and the other team had last bats, but we held on for the win! Final score 11-9! Kenny's aunt and cousins came out so it was fun seeing them and being able to visit...even though I had to keep score.

We also had a very nice Father's Day! Kenny went to his parents and played a game and bbq'ed and I went to my grandpa's house with my family and we bbq'ed with my cousins and aunt and uncle. I don't think our dads will read this, but I just want to take a minute and let them know how much we appreciate everything they do for us and have done for us growing up! My father-in-law has always treated me like a child of his own and for that I am so grateful! And thanks to my dad for giving me so many special memories growing up and continuing to give me more! They say that a girl will marry someone like her father and in my case, that is completely true! It's kinda scary how much my dad and Kenny are alike:) Both of our dads are so much fun to be around and have hearts like no one else! We have definitely been blessed! We love you guys!

Next year will be fun because Kenny will be able to celebrate his first real Father's Day with our baby girl! Hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great week!

3 Weeks Left!

Time is just FLYING by right now! I can't believe we have only 21 days left until we meet our little love! Possibly even less if she decides to come early! We had another appointment on Friday and I am still not dilated, but that's okay! She can stay where she is for as long as she needs to because I am still feeling great and besides that, I know in my belly is the safest place she will ever be. I did actually lose half a pound, but who knows how accurate the nurses always are when they weigh you...Either way, she said that is pretty normal so it didn't worry me too much.

Speaking of our appointment, here is a story...Our appointment was at 4:00. We get there and wait about 10-15 minutes until we are called back. I am sitting in the chair for about 45 MINUTES...The office closes at 5:00 so here we are listening to make sure people are still out there...Anyway, I start thinking in my head "Oh my gosh, what if something is wrong and they are waiting until all the other patients are gone because they know I am gonna cry and they don't want anyone else to see me upset"-almost hyperventilating, no joke! Kenny is telling me not to worry and if something was wrong, we would have known already. So a couple minutes later, the doctor comes in and says "I am sorry for making you guys wait so long, I just had 2 deliveries in 30 minutes and it threw everything back down here!" So needless to say, I was worried about nothing, but I thought that was an exciting story to share:)

Last night I was laying down reading a new book I got called "The Happiest Baby on the Block" which I am only a few pages into it, but it is good so far. Kenny comes in with my "What to Expect When You're Expecting" reading up on all that he can about the labor and asking me all sorts of questions...Like, if I want to watch it (thanks, but no thanks)...telling me what kinda of foods are okay to eat...he also told me that he will be asking me if I have to go to the bathroom a lot-I guess it helps the delivery process. It was really cute-I think he might be starting to get a little nervous:) But anyway, he is going to be such a great dad! If he's half the dad as he is a husband, he will be PHENOMENAL!

This weekend, Hailey had a tournament up in Prescott so we went up for the day. We ended up staying the night, but we left early Sunday morning and didn't watch the rest of the tournament, but they ended up winning the whole thing! Hailey had two homeruns on Saturday, over the fence and one was a GRAND SLAM! It was awesome! The fences were 200 feet and they easily cleared them straight over center field! At least we got to see her homeruns! The weather was perfect too, a little chilly at night, and overcast most of the day!

This was the only picture I got of us! Normally Kenny is the one who makes dumb faces, but after I realized he didn't, he wouldn't take another one! (That's okay though, at least I am not the one wearing two pairs of glasses)
And here is Chloe...my parents' new little puppy! She had fun playing in the grass and dirt all weekend. But I am sure it wasn't fun when my mom was trying to pick the gum out that got tangled in her hair!

On Friday, Kenny and Kelli had their second coed softball game, which they won! They are starting off the season with a 2-0 record! Way to go!

Update!

And Jen, I know what you are thinking...it's about time:) I will try to make it quick then on with the pics! First off, we are going WEEKLY to our appointments now! We are filled with excitement, not to mention a little anxiety that has came on in just the last week! We only have four weeks left! We had an appointment on friday and she is in position, her heart sounds great, and she is still moving all around all the time! I feel great, except the heartburn! My heels hurt too, but I think that is because I just can't sit still! I don't know if that is a good or bad thing because I have heard that pregnant women get a "burst of energy" right before they go into labor. Although, I haven't really had a "downtime" during this last stretch of my pregnancy so I don't really notice any change. I have gained a total of 27 pounds and I think the last few pounds are from popsicles (bullets especially) and lemon lime gatorade! I am constantly craving them and can't get enough! Thank goodness for QT and their $.59 fountain drinks because I go at least once, sometimes twice a day. I know I can buy gatorade at the store and have it home too-which we do, but there is just something about fountain drinks and the crushed ice from QT-is that a pregnancy thing? haha:) Anyway, so we saw one of the doctors in the office friday and I am not dilated so she isn't coming in the next week, we know that for sure. However, my other doctor said he will not let me go past the 8th of July. Which we were thinking would be a cool birthday-07/08/09:) Hopefully I will go full term because my doctor that I have always seen (until I got pregnant and had to rotate between the ones in the office) is on call the week I am due and he delivered me and my sisters so I would just love for him to deliver Peyton too! Now on with the pics!!

The nursery is pretty much ready for our little Sweet P to come home! After lots of prepping, spackling, and painting the walls are still not completely finished, but only little touch-ups are needed.
Before: In progress: After: The frame on the wall isn't completed either because we will take a picture every month from the day she is born and put in it until she is 1! The paper matches the "DREAM" letters that will go above the closet and the frames that I scrapbooked to match will go on a shelf. The only few things left to do, is finish the glider that will go in the corner to the right of the crib and finish hanging up some shelves and some wall art, otherwise we are ready! We also have been in the process of washing all of her clothes! And can I just say, WOW! She has a ton of them! We have done probably about five full loads and two of them were just pinks! Her closet is full from almost left to right and we are still not done washing everything! Her crib has all of her newborn sizes so we know what she has to wear right away! We decided to put them in there for now because let's be honest, she won't be sleeping in there very much-according to her daddy:) I don't think she has much of a choice when it comes to being such a girly-girl! Here are her first tutus and some cute little spankies to cover her diaper! We also have all of her bath stuff ready! That will be fun:) Look at all the robes, towels, and washcloths the girl has!

Hopefully it won't be long again before another update!
