Oh yeah, and...

Happy Birthday to Dad and Katie! Their birthday was yesterday!

Just Bloggin' :)

This last week has flown by! I am not complaining or anything though:) Last week ended great which started a good weekend too! Thursday night Kenny's men's softball league went 1 and 1 to the number 1 and 2 teams. Then Friday night, our co-ed softball team went 2 and 0! That was mine and Kenny's first night playing because they were the later games. Saturday, we hung out around the house, cleaned a bit, then I went and played poker with my mom and cousins while Kenny played with my dad and some friends. We ended up winning about $23, which is good for playing with quarters. I love winning money! Sunday, we watched football that morning with my parents then went to Kenny's parents' for the Cowboys game-which they tore it up-AGAIN! I went 1 and 2 in fantasy! Horrible! At least I am 3 and 0 in one league though. Kenny went 2-2-1...the two games he lost was by 2.1 points combined! He was freaking out Monday night watching the last of his players! Hope everyone is having a good week so far!

Whoa, that was a close one!

The 'Boys did it again on Monday Night Football! They beat the Eagles in a very intense game, so for those of you who didn't watch it, you missed a good one! Those games are gonna put Kenny into cardiac arrest, I swear! 2-0 Baby!

Busy weekend!

Thursday night, Kenny had a couple softball games and won both! Friday night, we had a a coed double-header and won...too bad Kenny and I weren't there to see it though! But, that's okay because we were at Matt's game, which they won too! Saturday, Hailey had a tournament way over on the west side...They played well, but only ended up 1-2 in the tournament. That night we went to Dave & Buster's for Chris' birthday! We had never been there before, but I can guarantee we will be back! That place is fun! I am not sure what my favorite part of the evening was...watching Kenny and Joe dance on that game "Dance Revolution" or beating Kenny more than once in basketball! I scored a personal record of 52 points! Kenny didn't wanna play anymore after that! But it was a lot of fun! Sunday, we made breakfast, watched some football, then went to our parents' later in the day! Busy, but FUN!

The newest addition to our family!

Meet Winnie! We actually got her from my cousin, who got her a couple months ago. She felt bad because she was raising her in an apartment. So, me and Kenny "adopted" her! She was familiar with Ethel because we have had "play dates," but we weren't sure how all three of them would be around each other. But they seem to be doing just fine! We even taught her a new trick:)

Cowboys...1-0!

Football is officially here! Yesterday we did nothing, but watch football, and it was GREAT! First, we went over to the Sparks' to watch the morning games and ate some fantastic breakfast burritos-thanks Katie! Then, we watched the Cowboys start off the season 1-0 with some friends and family over at Aunt Tammie and Uncle Skip's! After we watched that game, we went over to my parent's to watch the Sunday night game. The day just went by too fast! We are already looking forward to next week when the Cowboys play Monday night against the Eagles!

Now for some bad news...Tom Brady is out for the season! Well, that is just great for my Fantasy Football team! I do feel bad though, but I kinda hope the Jets can go all the way, just for Favre (and then lose to the Cowboys of course). Now with Brady out, I think that is possible. I couldn't imagine though if it was Romo who had been hurt. It was upsetting knowing that he had to get stitches from a hit yesterday! I couldn't imagine him being out for the season!

So FUNNY!

My friend, Joy, posted this picture from a website that created a picture of what your baby would look like with your spouse. I just had to upload pictures to see how our babies would turn out and I am so glad I did! The little boy made me and Kenny laugh so hard!!!

What the heck is going on with his hair?! It looks like a toupee! If I ever cut or style my little boy's hair like this, PLEASE, someone slap me! But this was really fun, especially since we don't have kids!

Road Trip!

One of my favorite things ON EARTH is to go on a road trip with Kenny! We get all packed up and ready to go, then we have to stop and get all of our snacks and drinks while we fill up with gas. We listen to all sorts of music. Usually I will pick one then Kenny will pick one and we just keep going back and forth 'til we get to our destination.
On Friday, we went up to my grandparent's cabin, which is about 10 miles past Payson. It took us FOREVER to get there because everyone decided to leave when we did! I know it was Labor Day weekend, but it actually didn't get backed up until we were just past Rye. It would have only taken us about 10-15 minutes if we were driving at a normal highway speed, but instead it took us almost an hour and a half to get into Payson from there! It's okay though...I was stuck in the truck with my husband and that gave us some quality time to talk about whatever came across our minds. We were only up there for Friday night and Saturday, but it was a lot of fun. Some much needed time away from work, school, and the heat.

We haven't been up to their cabin since they bought it, and we didn't know how pretty it was until the next morning when there was sunlight. They also have a creek that runs right about 40 ft from their porch! Here is Kenny crossing it with Cotton, my little sister's mule. In all the years that Kenny and I have been together, he has never been on any of our horses or mules! He was a little timid at first, but I couldn't stress to him enough that Cotton is the most mellow thing you could ever ride! I think it's impossible for her to run! No Joke! My mom took Kenny and my cousin on a ride and Kenny said he really enjoyed it! At first, he had a hard time getting her to cross the creek so my mom had to help pull her across:) But back to reality now! We had our last fantasy draft last night with Kenny's family and some friends! Just four more days until kickoff! The only bummer is that Kenny has a softball game on Thursday so we will miss it:( Oh well, I am sure the rest of the week will go by fast! It's almost Tuesday! Plus, I have two or three tests this week and those always seem to sneak up on you! I love it, but my gosh is it tough! I feel like I have done nothing, but come home from school and study! I feel so bad because I think we have eaten out every night except once or twice last week because I haven't taken time to go to the grocery store and cook a good meal! But we went grocery shopping today so hopefully that won't happen again this week:) Hope everyone had a good Labor Day and enjoy the rest of the week!
