Catching Up...

I don't know where the time goes! It's been a while since we updated this so...I guess the only important thing that has happened lately is Thanksgiving. We had a great one! Spent all day with family and watched football! Cowboys won, which made it even better! We also have been getting ready for Christmas! We have about half of our shopping done, which is kind of a bummer...we love going to the mall around Christmas time, even if we don't find anything for anyone, the atmosphere is just fun to be around! We finally finished getting our lights up too! We started last weekend, but for some reason, some of our lights weren't working. So we finally went and got some more and finished our house today! We will probably do our tree tomorrow night! Kenny also played in a Turkey Bowl last Saturday! I never saw Kenny play football in high school because we started dating in December of his senior year, so by then his season was over. It was fun, even though they went 1 and 2 for the day. He is such a good quarterback! I loved watching him!

Our weekend...

Matt, Kenny's brother, had his last regular season football game at Higley High on Friday and QC WON! The score was 15-14...it was such an exciting game! Matt played very well! They start playoffs this Friday! Then Saturday, we went up north for the day to get firewood...Theresa and I found some cool rocks for our yards too...thanks to the guys for putting them in the truck:) Kenny and me posing for the camara...if that's what you wanna call it:)
Look at Kenny workin' that chainsaw...I even got to try it:)
After we got home, we had to hurry and get ready for a hockey game! The Coyotes won 4-1 and since they scored 4 goals (is that what they are called in hockey??? haha) we got a free chalupa from Taco Bell. We went with my aunt, uncle, cousins, and friends and had awesome seats! (Thanks Aunt DeAnn!) Sunday, we slept in and cleaned around the house, went grocery shopping, watched football, then went and practiced for our softball tournament this week! We ended up 9 and 5 in our softball league. Two of those losses were to a team that no one beats because they have been playing together forever, but the second game was close:) We are a pretty good team though, especially for not ever practicing or playing with eachother before this! We will start playing on another team at the Field of Dreams for a short league with a friend who's work is sponsoring us! That field is so neat so it will be fun to play there! Then another Queen Creek league will start on January 1st, which we just found out today that we were picked again! They only pick 8 teams and about 20-30 teams put in, I think. I guess it's good to "know some people" *wink wink" :)

Hailey also had a tournament this last weekend. We missed it because we were up north, but they went 2 and 2 and lost in the 2nd round that night. Hailey had a homerun, so I just wanted to brag about how AWESOME my little sister is at softball:) I am so proud of her and she amazes me at everything she does. She is a natural at every sport she plays! I don't think there is one game that goes by that me and Kelli don't yell "that's my sister!" haha

3 Years!

Kenny and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary yesterday! We went to PF Changs for dinner and we were going to see a movie, but when we were on our way out of the restaurant, Kenny looked at me with a strange look and said, "I kinda feel like goin' Christmas shopping." So we went to the mall:) We didn't end up buying anything for anyone, but we did get ourselves season 4 of Entourage and a new dvd holder. (Hey, it's our anniversary) We had about 10 dvds just stacked on top of eachother that was an eyesore...especially for Kenny!(For those of you who know how Kenny is with his dvds:)) He was pretty excited. Anyway...anyone who is married, I am sure can agree that it goes by so fast! The last 7 years of my life have been incredible because Kenny was a part of it! Not only because of him, but because of his family too. I could not ask for better in-laws or brother-in-laws! And the same goes for my family...He is the son my parents never had. My family says they want to take him and "freeze" him to save for their daughters when they get older!:) Yeah, I am pretty sure that I have the BEST husband in the world! I love him!

Easy & delicious dinner...

I have only seen these sauces at Albertson's, but that's because I don't really go anywhere else...besides Walmart...but I have come to realize that Walmart doesn't have everything (especially good produce). Anyway, down the Asian food aisle, there are sauce packets with the brand name "Lee Kum Kee" on it. I have made the Kung Pao Chicken before (my favorite), but last night I made the Broccoli Beef. I used beef skirt steak and it was delicious! Just follow the directions on the back and you will have a delicious dinner in no time! The minute rice takes longer to cook actually, no joke! Let me know if you try it and what you think because I could make these dinners every night, but they only have maybe four or five flavors so they would probably get old! Just thought I would share:)

Oh, the poor Cowboys:(

We went to the game Sunday, which sucked because they lost, but at least we were able to go see our Cowboys live! We had never been to the new Cardinals stadium either! Our seats weren't the best...they were at the 50 yard line and high up, but you can see everything from anywhere in that stadium it seems like. I don't think we will be going to anymore Dallas games though...And to make matters worse, there are a lot of injuries! We might be bad luck!

Vacation!

This last weekend we went to Magic Mountain with the Maher side of the family along with other friends and family! It was a quick weekend because we didn't leave until Thursday night and then came home on Saturday, but it was so much fun! Kenny was a little skeptical about some of the rides:) He doesn't really like things that whip you around upside down, but I talked him into it. We were walking through the line at the "Goliath" ride and saw his feet so we had to take a picture with them:)
Me, Kelli, and Hailey went on the Dive, which is a bungee jump type thing! Kelli and I have always wanted to do it since we were about 12 years old, but our dad wouldn't let us (he is afraid of heights). One year he was finally going to let us do it in Las Vegas, but when we got there it was closed! Well, we never had the opportunity again until this weekend, and we even talked him into letting Hailey ride with us! It was the most intense experience EVER! I actually went a second time:) I will try to post the video of it, but here are a couple pics...not great ones, but you get the picture:) On our way home, we stopped by Santa Monica Pier, ate lunch, and the boys played some football on the beach!
