Here's what's been goin' on...

It's FOOTBALL SEASON! Woot Woot!
Proud Romo fan!Playing a little catch with Daddy during the games on SundayAnd then a little soccer... Maybe Peyton had a hunch the Cowboys were gonna lose...Daddy on the other hand didn't see it coming:(...On the bright side, we won ALL SIX of our fantasy leagues...Of course we would take a Cowboys win over fantasy any day, but ya win some and ya lose some. I can't help but laugh at Peyton's hair...it seriously looks like a mullet! Playing in the field after one of mom and dad's games! I love this time of year...it's finally cooling down, football is here and the holidays are coming! Woo Hoo! We have been playing a lot of softball and Kenny's men's team is doing really well! So good in fact, that they are on "probation" because other teams feel they are too good to be playing in the recreational league! I don't know what "probation" means exactly, but I guess they shouldn't play to win??

Not this last weekend, but the weekend before that, we went to the ASU game with Matt and Sasha! We had a great time...except when the drunk (probably underage) girl next to us started puking! I may sound cold-hearted, but I have absolutely no sympathy for people who get to this point. Apparently, her friends must have felt the same because they just continued taking pictures of themselves! Good friends they are! It was DISGUSTING! There were a few seats open next to us on the opposite side so we were able to scoot down. It was a long game too! We ended up leaving close to 10:00 and the 4th quarter was just barely starting! ASU ended up winning-if you care:) We had a great time!Sunday and Monday(of Labor Day weekend) were nice and relaxing...We went to Kenny's parents on Sunday, then Monday we went to my parents' for the afternoon! We swam and ate good food both days! We went to San Tan Mall with auntie Kel too! I didn't play for too long because some little boy covered the the water spout and it squirted out in my face:( Mom almost beat him up, but Auntie Kel had to hold her back...(Ok, she didn't really almost beat up a six year old, but she said he should know better because I was playing with it first-haha) Daddy's softball team's trainer..."Anyone need their ankles taped?""How 'bout you mom?"I experienced my first "parent with a toddler incident" and she isn't even two! I was washing dishes and she was playing in the den. I didn't hear her for a minute so I went into the den...didn't see her...walked into the hallway...she wasn't there either...walked around the corner to her bedroom...there she as with my turquoise craft paint! I took it away and grabbed the towel that was luckily laying right there from her bath that morning. I started to clean her hands and didn't realize until I picked her up to go rinse them off that she had a perfect application of turquoise "lipstick!" Thank goodness for non-toxic craft paint! Now our carpet on the hand...well it definitely needs a patch job. At least we have extra carpet rolls to get that done! What do the terrible two's have in store for me?!?!Let me just show you the drama queen we have on our hands over here in the Holmes' household...she had a pen so I took it away...I know this is kinda teasing her and mean on my part, but I just wanted to share...Then about 3 seconds (if that) after I gave it back to her. (Of course I didn't let her keep playing with it) Can you say "DRAMATIC?"What is this?Ha, you think you can just sneak this thing on me? I'm smarter than that!Other than Peyton being a dramatic and sassy little girl, she is so fun! She loves to dance to any music that comes on...especially the swiffer commercial...you know, the song that goes "Don't you love me baby?" It's pretty funny! And she loves Glee! When a song comes on she instantly stops what she is doing and goes and stands right in front of the tv and will move only her right arm (like she is doing the "chicken dance") Then when she really gets into it, she will lift up her right leg and keep trying to balance on it or she will kick it out like she is doing a yoga move or something. She also LOVES "Flo" from the progressive commercials. She can be almost asleep in the evening while we are watching tv and as soon as she hears her talk she flips up and INSTANTLY smiles! The other night I was cooking and she was hanging on to my legs whining because she wanted me to hold her, but as soon as she heard "Flo" talking she walked out of the kitchen and around the couch to watch her. She loves bath time and brushing her OWN teeth...Heaven forbid we try to help her with that! She is such a hoot and love her more and more everyday!

You have the cutest little girl! She looks SO fun to be around too!! Not that I at all want to wish this newborn stage away with Tanner because its so cute and perfect, but Jordan and I cant help but talk about how excited we are for when he has his own little personality and can talk to us and laugh and play! I know it will be here before I know it, so I am trying to suck it up now!
So I have a Q for you!:) I emailed Kel, but she hasn't gotten back to me yet! Jordan and I are really really interested in doing like a co-ed softball team like you guys do, here in QC.. I need to get out and exercise again and Jordan and I want something we can do together!! Any advice, or can you lead me in the right direction on what league you guys go through? Is it town of QC? Anyways, Im not that great at softball since I haven't played in forever but I would love to get out out and start something like that with my husband!:) Any advice would be awesome when you get a chance!!
