Where does the weekend go?

Uncle Matt had a game on friday, which they won! Saturday, we got up early and drove up north for the day with Kenny's parents to get firewood for their firepit. We thought it might be a little chilly, but surprisingly it was just perfect! It was so pretty with all the leaves changing colors and the cool breeze was just what we needed after last weeks hot weather in the valley. Sunday, we went to Katie and Jake's house and watched football with them and Matt and Sasha. I got up early this morning to let our dogs out and a nice breeze blew threw the back door and it put me in the mood to clean house! I love days like this when you can open all the windows and you don't hear your ac running all day! I took a little break to blog about our weekend. Enjoy!
Auntie Katie making me laugh at Uncle Matt's game!On our way up north with all my friends to keep me company!I fell asleep on our way up! We also went on a little hike and I was playing with the different functions on my camara.Friday, I went to a store called Ribbons and Lace. At first, I was a little disappointed because the flowers for headbands were expensive. The headbands were also expensive-$4 each! They are definitely cute enough to sell for that much, but I only thought they were expensive because I knew that if I could get the stuff to put them together myself, I could save a lot. I finally found the elastic lace, after asking someone, and got different colors for the bands. Then I found some flowers that had the little fuzzy yellow thing in the middle. I knew I could take them apart so I got a few of those in different colors. Then I got enough rhinestones to hot glue in the center of each flower and clips to be able to mix and match the flowers and bands. I made a lot of different bows I can now put together for a little less than $20! I was thrilled!
Lace-$1.59/yd
Flowers-$1.49 eachClips-$.25 each; Rhinestones-$.29 eachThese were the headbands that were $4 each(w/out the flower) and I almost got a couple, but then I remembered that I already had some! All of the flowers are interchangeable with each band too!It was a fun little project! I love them and doesn't she just look so darn cute?!

I just can't get enough of her!

I spend 24/7 with this amazing little girl and it seems like it is not enough! Every night we watch a movie or a few episodes of HEROES and Kenny usually lays her on his chest and I really do miss her! I know it sounds so ridiculous, but my gosh I just love her so much and could spend the rest of my life looking at this beautiful face! It is crazy how fast time flies, especially when you have kids! I can't believe our little Sweet P is already 3 months old! This last weekend she went on her first road trip up to Payson for Hailey's tournament. The weather was awesome! It was perfect in the sun and a little chilly in the shade. For this little trip we had to find Peyton some jeans...the only ones I could find I think are boy jeans...even though the lady told me 0-3 months is unisex. No complaints though because she still looked super cute and I got these and a set of picture coasters for $.79!( I love Kohls and their $10 off coupons!) Oh yeah, and I got 2 free chicken sandwiches from Chick Fil A because they are opening a new one by us! I scored bargain after bargain that day! I did not take one picture up in Payson, but we had a great time! Here are some pictures from the past week or so...Like I said...I can't get enough of this girl! Here are my cute jeans that mom got for a steal!I have never been too fond of polka dots, but I LOVE them on P. Maybe because she looks good in anything ;) I think she would have enjoyed her new swing a little more if she was actually swinging in it...sorry baby girl...you're still a little too small so for now you can just sit and enjoy the view. She isn't the only one getting tired of how the Cowboys are playing!I dont know why mom insists on putting these bows on me! I also turned 3 months on Thursday! She loves the fan and the tv! It's so funny because it's like she gets so bashful and puts her hands over her face, kicks her legs and grins from ear to ear when she watches the fan! We think she is so close to laughing and can't wait to hear her first little giggle! She still is sleeping through the night and only on occasion she will wake up. She is still in our room, but I wake up numerous times a night to check on her and it's just easier with her right there. Besides, we love sleeping with her anyway:) She "oohs" and "ahhs" all the time like she is really talking to us. I also think she is gonna be teething really soon because she is drooling a lot! We'll see...
