I think we are finally on a roll with potty training! She is starting to let us know almost everytime before she goes in her diaper. At least when we are home she does. Just in the last couple of days she has gone twice one day and then yesterday she went "#2" in the morning and potty last night. I feel bad actually because when she comes to me trying to tell me something I don't realize it right away and after a couple of seconds I think "oh! She has to go potty!" So we run in there and whether she has already gone in her diaper or not, she still sits down. It's cute too because she instantly starts wanting to play patty cake. When we first started to put her on her chair we would sing that song just to keep her occupied for a couple of minutes so now we sing it every time.

She loves playing with the little neighbor kids. I think between 6 houses there are 12 kids? And they are all under the age of 10 probably...But anyway, last week she was out in the cul-de-sac riding her little quad with the other 3 power wheels. But hers was obviously the smallest and so cute because the other kids were driving fast and all around her and she was going maybe 1 mile an hour! Everyone was laughing because it was so cute. Then she got in between two other girls on a bigger power wheel and she was having a blast with them!

She loves the park and always wants to go! She loves coloring! And we have been teaching her a little sign language too. She knows "more, "please", and "thank you".

This was the BIG slide! There was one slide that she had never been on. So Kenny put her on it and she took off and flew right of the end and landed on her butt in the sand. It was so funny because it was only about 5ft and it was straight, but a little steeper. We didn't realize she would get going that fast! She didn't mind though:)

She is obsessed with these boots! She always wants to wear them! She will whine if we try to put her other shoes on and she sees these laying there so we have to hide them...out of sight, out mind:)
Peyton mocks everything now-a-days! We went to dinner the other night and while we were waiting my mom was standing there with her arms folded and Peyton was trying to copy her. It was a little difficult for her to fold them at first so she would kinda roll them like she does when she plays patty cake until she got them positioned right. And I didn't realize how often I say "mmm nummmmies" until one morning she was eating her breakfast and after every bite she would say "mmm nummm" She would take one cheerio at a time and eat it then make this face at me. What a ham! I was cracking up!
She thinks she's pretty funny herself!
She is into hiding everywhere too. Ususally it's behind drapes or in a corner. This time she barracaded herself around her toys...I actually didn't even notice her right away.
She finally got her own little vacuum!

Lately...

She was hiding from me...

Saturday night we went to Peter Piper
I opened the refridgerator and usually she "helps" me by closing it. Well, she spotted the cheesecake and started digging right in!
She really was enjoying this...One of my favorite times with her right now is right after I give her a bath. For some reason she hasn't been liking them too much lately so when I get her out she just wants to cuddle up in my arms and usually she will fall asleep. This time she brought my robe to me and wanted me to wrap her up in it.
Look at my hubby showing off his sweet football skills! The Saturday before the superbowl he had another flag football tournament. We had to be in Tempe bright and early that morning so we dropped Peyton off at Kenny's parents and got ready for a long day! They made it to the semis...again...:( They played really well, they were just exhausted by the last game. Jeremy caught this one!
We haven't been up to too much lately...Our coed softball season started and we aren't doing too hot...we're horrible actually...I'm not sure what happened...Kenny's men's league started last night and they went 1-1. They are really good though and almost came back in the second game. Peyton was busy counting and drinking hot chocolate (hence her brown upper lip)
Valentine's Day we didn't do too much. Sunday afternoon we actually went to lunch and the movie No Strings Attached. It was nice just me and Kenny and we want to make it a point to do that every month. It's hard and our lives are just always so busy, but we are definitely going to try and make it happen. We dropped Peyton off with my parents then Monday we dropped her off with Kenny's parents. We had a nice romantic dinner at Filiberto's LOL! Actually Kenny got Chipotle and then we went to Filiberto's for me. Valentine's Day is over-rated so we never go all out, but it was nice just for the two of us to get out again.

Other stuff!

Once again sorry for the lack of posts! I need to blog more often because when I sit to post something I forget all the cute things she does. I started this one a while ago too and I am just now getting around to finishing it up! Peyton had her 15 month checkup about 2 weeks ago and weighed 26 pounds (not too much change from last time and I think it was somewhere around the 60th percentile) and she was 32" tall which I think was around the 75th percentile. She got a couple of shots and was crying before they even gave them to her. She hates that place! Our little girl brings so much love and laughter into our lives everyday! She loves to play "kitchen" with her new set she got for Christmas. She likes to stir the food and it's funny because she will open the little refrigerator and add mustard or ketchup to whatever she is "cooking." She likes to play "mom" with her babies, and she loves to play in the tub! She likes to vacuum with her popper thing (not sure if that's the correct name for it :) ) And she loves watching Aunt Hailey's basketball games...most of the time...other times she likes the bleachers more, which is no fun when you are chasing her around! She likes PLAIN cheerios, oranges, bananas, and really any type of fruit, but those are what she has the most. She also likes these veggie straws from Costco...they kind of taste like chips but not as salty or greasy. She loves to run, jump, talk on the phone, and dance. She will point to airplanes when she hears them and if she can't see them she puts her arms up like, "where is it?" She also likes brushing her teeth and that is really the only thing she will sit still for long enough for me to do her hair! She likes to suck the toothpaste off first though. She LOVES milk and if we try to give her juice or water she will throw her cup if she sees that whatever is in it isn't white. We gotta work on that attitude! She likes to play hide and seek and it's so cute when she tries to hide. Her feet or hands will be sticking out or we will see her slowly back up to the wall if we ask "where's Peyton?" It's so funny! She hates when we wash her hair or clean her face, and does not like to sit still for too long, especially when I'm trying to do her hair! Usually I have to out a pony tail in it while she's sleeping. She hates when we don't pay attention to her in the backseat while we drive, hates to be covered with a blanket at night, and hates getting dressed! She likes to help me fold laundry and put the clothes from the washer into the dryer. She LOVES playing with our iTouches and its funny that she knows to push the button and slide the bar over with her finger. She likes to play in her playroom too. I'm so glad we changed it for her. Not only did she need it, but she loves playing in there. Every night we usually follow her in there and she will "cook" us something, or we will read in there. We have a little mini couch from ikea in there and it fits us all perfectly. It's so cute how she just jabbers away like we know what she's talking about. Especially when she is holding the phone to her ear.

She also had her first haircut. Her bangs were looking a little shaggy so I trimmed them up and decided to do the back too. Only like 1/2 an inch, but it actually helps with the knots.

Oh! And she went potty in her chair for the first time. Actually that was close to two months ago now, but I haven't gotten around to posting anything lately! We just happened to have her on it at the moment, but we were so excited and I think she got embarrassed because she jumped up and took off down the hall! She hasn't gone in it since, but we aren't pushing it too much. She knows it's there and she will go in and sit on it in the mornings and throughout the day, but I don't think she knows what to do exactly! We were so proud!

Her first rootbeer float! She really liked it too! Shopping at the mall with the BEST aunties in the world! We have to keep a baby gate in front of the dvds or they will be a mess by the time she is done with them! I forgot to put it back up and she went and sat down and just stared. I thought it was so cute how she was sitting though:) One night we went to Kelli's and Thomas' to play Kinect and I had the pleasure to hold this little man when Katie and Jake came over too! Isn't my future son-in-law so handsome;)Peyton played with her puzzles...And once in a while joined in on the fun with Daddy! Here's the stroller that came with her doll...and no, she isn't naked:) She LOVES the book, "Christmas in the Manger" and wants to read it all the time! It wasn't even a book we brought out for Christmas, she has liked it for months!
We also celebrated Kenny's 27th birthday on the 25th and My little sister's 15th birthday on the 11th.

Happy Birthday to my Daddy! She is obsessed with chapstick and lip gloss. She just barely touches it to her lips and says "mmmm" We made mini pizzas one night and she just couldn't wait so she started eating the english muffins just plain. We had a little birthday party last saturday morning at Peter Piper Pizza!
Hmmm...what do I want to play next? We made cupcakes...and once again, I promise she is not naked on our counter!Playing with her "babies"I went into the garage just to put food in the dogs' bowls and I came back in not even 30 seconds and I caught her! Now you know why she's hardly ever dressed!
She isn't afraid of her quad anymore! This how she rides it most of the time too!Dad? Where did you go? Ah man! You are gonna make me go in there after you aren't you?!She was a little afraid at first...There you are!Another birthday party! She knew exactly what to do with the bat/stick. She carries around her bat at home. We actually had to hide it because it's a real metal bat and she likes to swing it around. One night after our softball games we went to Uncle Bear's. Thomas was picking out a song to karaoke to! They were obviously posing for this :)
Me and Kelli love that they get along so well! We tease them and say how they are going to leave us for each other haha! Nice kicks baby girl!

Rod & Karen's Wedding!

Sorry for the delay in posts lately...I actually started this one a couple weeks ago and just never finished up my December posts except our Christmas.

Kenny's older brother was married on December 18th! Kind of ironic it was that date too because that was the exact date Kenny proposed to me 6 years earlier! Their wedding was so much fun and it turned out great! We had the rehearsal dinner at Logan's Steakhouse and we met a lot of Karen's family and friends from Texas.

The big girls let Peyton hang out with them at the rehearsal...I think because Peyton had snacks! Haha

Would you like some chicken with your ranch? The morning of the wedding Theresa and I went by Albertson's to get some snacks while us girls got ready at the venue. My other brother-in-law works there and he was playing "Santa" so I had to get a picture. Excuse the way I look, I didn't plan on taking a picture with him:)Here was Peyton during the ceremony. It was the only thing that kept her from crying and Kenny had a perfect view while he was standing up there and it took all he had to not laugh out loud! She missed her nap that afternoon so she wasn't being very cooperative when I wanted her to sit. At the last minute before the ceremony started I switched seats and sat on Karen's side in case I had to slip away with her. Otherwise, I would have been stuck and the only way out would have been down the aisle in the middle of it...um, no thanks! She was waving to everyone that drove by while we waited for the wedding party to get their pictures taken. She's so friendly!Me and Nonni!Paige and Peyton goofing around!Peyton didn't like sharing her Nana with Paige! Kenny: Hey P, these moves are how I stole your mama's heart!
Peyton: Oh Daddy, you are embarrassing me! Let me show you how it's done!
