Lately...

I have been slacking on my blogging for the last month...or two...I was really excited to get some of Kelli's and Thomas's wedding pictures up so that is why that post happened so fast! Then I realized how many pictures I have from the last month or so and thought I should get those up before I forget! We have been spending a lot of time at the park before it gets too hot! I love summer, (mainly because I hate being cold) but I am not looking forward to lugging Peyton around in the heat, lathering her up on sunblock constantly if we decide to go outside, the weeds in our yard to grow out of control (which has almost happened) sweating profusely, taking showers three times a day because it's so stinkin' hot! Our electric bill:( You get the picture! However, I will take Arizona weather over anywhere else any day! Here are a few random pictures of our little lady! She woke up and I did not touch one piece of her hair before I took this! She LOVES her babies and their stroller! When we drive she has to have it in her lap or she freaks out...which is what happened right before I snapped this picture. We were at San Tan Mall when she threw a fit in front of American Eagle. I was inside paying and I look out the window to see Kenny standing there with Peyton crying and Kenny pointing to the truck as he was saying, "We'll be at the truck." When I met him at the truck he said she started crying because he put her in the stroller to change her diaper so she couldn't have her babies at the moment. You can tell she was a little upset still, but she was tired too...I know that's no excuse! She loves her babies! She LOVES drawing! She LOVES chocolate! At the end of February we went to Schnepf Farms with Katie, Jake, and Ryker! There wasn't much open, but we went on a train ride, went into the little petting zoo, and then they had the little store open where we got a cinnamon roll. The weather was perfect!

My Sister's Wedding!

I have been such a slacker when it comes to blogging, but I could not wait to post pictures of Kelli's and Thomas' wedding weekend! Especially for those of you who could not celebrate with us! Unfortunately, I have only a few from the wedding because it was so hectic that day getting ready. Early Thursday morning my mom, Kelli, Peyton and I headed to Dana Point, CA! Peyton was such a trooper when it came to the drive! It's difficult keeping a toddler in a carseat for so long, but we took as many breaks as we could to let her run around. We loaded up with snacks and whether it was my mom's ipad, my ipod, or my sisters iphone, she was pretty content! She was so tired and over due for her morning nap and finally fell asleep before she even finished her cracker! When Kenny and Thomas got in on Friday we walked Peyton down to the beach. Luckily she didn't care too much for the water because it was freezing and really wanted nothing to do with anything but the sand! We saw some of the prettiest flowers on our way down! I thought this was such a neat picture! Maybe if she would have been looking down at the camera, but the sky looks so pretty!Looking for seashells! She found a stick to draw with! She wrote this with her stick ;)We also saw some dolphins and I barely caught one of them with my camera! Can you see it? We went to dinner Friday night with all the ladies! I had the BEST meal...I think seafood is probably my favorite especially after I had this! It had green-lipped mussels, scallions, calamari, shrimp, and something else, but I can't remember...served on top of linguini pasta! They had a marinara sauce to cover it, but I asked if they had a white sauce. I actually didn't even need sauce because this dish had so much flavor already! I also had some of my moms stuffed salmon! Yummm!!! I LOVE FOOD!!! Here was our view of the sunset when we were at dinner! Kelli's wedding gift from my parents! Kelli loves those "little blue boxes":) I think every morning we woke up, this is what the weather looked like and the sun would come out a little later. Except Saturday, it was overcast pretty much all day. Here was where they got married...It is definitely not the best shot because it's far away, but it's a little courtyard overlooking the ocean! It was GORGEOUS! I can't wait until she gets her pictures back and I will have definitely post them! The groom and his men! Showing off their cool kicks. Kelli left Thomas to pick their shoes out and he chose shiny, patent, leather Chucks with red trim on the inside. They were all pretty proud of them! By the time we were taking pictures of the bridal party the sun came out, but the wind made it a little chilly still! While Kelli and Thomas were taking pictures I had a chance to take a few of me and Kenny! I wanted to take one sitting on this rock with Kenny, but right when Hailey took the picture a wave came up! We were laughing so hard!I could not get my camera to focus right at night, without the flash so it's fuzzy, but this was our view from Cannon's Restaurant where the reception was. Here was a better view before sunset, but it was too bright to show me and P. She wasn't throwing a fit...she just wanted to lay down apparently. She did such a great job as the flower girl! When we arrived in the limo we were planning on Peyton walking down with me and Kenny, but then we decided to let her walk behind us because she would have been fine if she saw me at the end of the aisle. She got a little sidetracked and walked halfway down, then turned around then came back and somehow ended up behind My parents and Kelli walking down. She sat with my parents and was great during the ceremony!

I think we are finally on a roll with potty training! She is starting to let us know almost everytime before she goes in her diaper. At least when we are home she does. Just in the last couple of days she has gone twice one day and then yesterday she went "#2" in the morning and potty last night. I feel bad actually because when she comes to me trying to tell me something I don't realize it right away and after a couple of seconds I think "oh! She has to go potty!" So we run in there and whether she has already gone in her diaper or not, she still sits down. It's cute too because she instantly starts wanting to play patty cake. When we first started to put her on her chair we would sing that song just to keep her occupied for a couple of minutes so now we sing it every time.

She loves playing with the little neighbor kids. I think between 6 houses there are 12 kids? And they are all under the age of 10 probably...But anyway, last week she was out in the cul-de-sac riding her little quad with the other 3 power wheels. But hers was obviously the smallest and so cute because the other kids were driving fast and all around her and she was going maybe 1 mile an hour! Everyone was laughing because it was so cute. Then she got in between two other girls on a bigger power wheel and she was having a blast with them!

She loves the park and always wants to go! She loves coloring! And we have been teaching her a little sign language too. She knows "more, "please", and "thank you".

This was the BIG slide! There was one slide that she had never been on. So Kenny put her on it and she took off and flew right of the end and landed on her butt in the sand. It was so funny because it was only about 5ft and it was straight, but a little steeper. We didn't realize she would get going that fast! She didn't mind though:)

She is obsessed with these boots! She always wants to wear them! She will whine if we try to put her other shoes on and she sees these laying there so we have to hide them...out of sight, out mind:)
Peyton mocks everything now-a-days! We went to dinner the other night and while we were waiting my mom was standing there with her arms folded and Peyton was trying to copy her. It was a little difficult for her to fold them at first so she would kinda roll them like she does when she plays patty cake until she got them positioned right. And I didn't realize how often I say "mmm nummmmies" until one morning she was eating her breakfast and after every bite she would say "mmm nummm" She would take one cheerio at a time and eat it then make this face at me. What a ham! I was cracking up!
She thinks she's pretty funny herself!
She is into hiding everywhere too. Ususally it's behind drapes or in a corner. This time she barracaded herself around her toys...I actually didn't even notice her right away.
She finally got her own little vacuum!

Lately...

She was hiding from me...

Saturday night we went to Peter Piper
I opened the refridgerator and usually she "helps" me by closing it. Well, she spotted the cheesecake and started digging right in!
She really was enjoying this...One of my favorite times with her right now is right after I give her a bath. For some reason she hasn't been liking them too much lately so when I get her out she just wants to cuddle up in my arms and usually she will fall asleep. This time she brought my robe to me and wanted me to wrap her up in it.
Look at my hubby showing off his sweet football skills! The Saturday before the superbowl he had another flag football tournament. We had to be in Tempe bright and early that morning so we dropped Peyton off at Kenny's parents and got ready for a long day! They made it to the semis...again...:( They played really well, they were just exhausted by the last game. Jeremy caught this one!
We haven't been up to too much lately...Our coed softball season started and we aren't doing too hot...we're horrible actually...I'm not sure what happened...Kenny's men's league started last night and they went 1-1. They are really good though and almost came back in the second game. Peyton was busy counting and drinking hot chocolate (hence her brown upper lip)
Valentine's Day we didn't do too much. Sunday afternoon we actually went to lunch and the movie No Strings Attached. It was nice just me and Kenny and we want to make it a point to do that every month. It's hard and our lives are just always so busy, but we are definitely going to try and make it happen. We dropped Peyton off with my parents then Monday we dropped her off with Kenny's parents. We had a nice romantic dinner at Filiberto's LOL! Actually Kenny got Chipotle and then we went to Filiberto's for me. Valentine's Day is over-rated so we never go all out, but it was nice just for the two of us to get out again.
