Whoa! Can time just stop flying by PLEASE!?!? Last night, after we put Peyton down, we were talking about how we can't believe she is almost one! The last few months have been such a blur because she is learning so much and the older she gets, the faster it goes...now we know why our parents say that. She brings so much joy, love, and laughter to our lives and we are so grateful for such a perfectly healthy and happy baby. She still loves playing peek-a-boo and it never gets old! She also picked up a pretty good habit...she tries to get dressed herself! One day she crawled into her room and when I went to check on her, she had pulled a pair of shorts out of her laundry basket and was trying to put them on! It was so cute! She just doesn't understand though that she can't wear everything. She'll try to put anything on her feet... wipes, shirts, hair ties, and whatever else! She gets into anything she can and is OBSESSED with everything on her changing table...especially the lotions and powders. She just likes to carry around the bottles. Kenny is hoping she will get bored with his dvds soon, but I really don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon! He tells her no and smacks her hand (don't worry, not that hard!) but she must relate the word "no" with the action of laughing hysterically because that's exactly what she does! It is actually pretty funny! We try not to let her see us laugh when she does it though. She loves to share her snacks with me and the dogs have quickly learned that when she is in her walker and they follow her, she will share with them too! What a little cheeseball!
Mmmm, I like that chocolate stuff! I was sharing my chocolate ice cream with her!
About to get into stuff that I shouldn't!
Playing with the puzzles that Paige gave her. Until something caught her eye...my cranberry slush! She likes those!
She LOVES dogs! She cracks up when they run around!
She loves to share! Saturday we were at Kenny's parents' and while I was in the pool, Theresa was giving her snacks and when Peyton saw me, she put her hand out to share some...even though I was all the way across the pool! It was so sweet:) Here she was sharing with me and Kenny!
Pop-Pop always makes me some delicious sweet potatoes when he grills!
Me and Paige swimming in our cool pool!
The big pool kinda freaked her out! She was okay after a couple minutes though.
She tries to put everything on her feet!

Everytime we say, "where's the baby?" she puts her arms up and thinks she is hiding. Then she will sit really still and move her arms out after a few seconds then laughs and gets so excited when we say, "there she is!"

Matt's Graduation!
Thursday night we attended Matt's graduation! The weather was perfect and the ceremony didn't last too long either!
I was having a hard time getting my camara to zoom and focus, but here was Matt receiving his diploma.
Peyton was so good! Considering we were practically sitting on eachother's laps, and she was running on only one nap that day! At least the guy in front of us didn't care that she kept playing with his shirt. She was so interested in the design on it!
Watching the fireworks!
Pop-Pop with his girls!

Double Digits!
Peyton is 10 months! She just got out of the bath...if you didn't happen to notice her pruned feet!
Boy, am I glad I'm not that elephant! I hope she doesn't treat her real friends like that! Haha
Awww, now that's better!
Along with her age, her hair is growing too! A little longer in the back and it might just be an official mullett! Not that that is what we are going for! I put a little product in the curls, but it's hopeless when it just gets messed up in her carseat.
Mother's Day
Here are the ones who went to the show...My cousin, Jessica, Aunt Bonnie, my grandma, Monnie, my mom, Kel, and me! Hailey, and three of my other cousins went to dinner, but they weren't allowed in the show because they were underage so they had to go home afterwards.

Overdue Update(s)!
Peyton is all over the place now-a-days and getting into so much stuff! She likes to play with tupperware, piles of FOLDED clothes, Kenny's dvds, and just about anything else she can get her curious little hands on! She has such a sensitive little soul and will cry like a baby (no pun intended) if someone laughs around her, at her, with her, it really doesn't matter. I was talking to the pharmacist one day at Target and we started to laugh and she looked at me and got a huge frown and started to SCREAM. Kenny had to walk away with her to calm her down. Same thing happened at Dillard's when the lady at the jewelry counter and I were talking, and again one night when we were giving her a bath and I was messing with her hair. She just gets offended or something. She likes to clap when we say "yay" all on her own without us doing it with her. Kenny and my mom have been working on teaching her "high five" and she is getting that down too! Luckily, we can still put her in her walker without worrying too much about what she is getting into and she loves it! It kinda looks like she is going so fast that her hair is blowing back, but really it's just her bedhead.
Crawling to the tupperware after getting bored with the pantry. She got tangled in the Target bag, but that wasn't gonna stop her!

Kenny calls Winnie her "P-I-C" (Partner in Crime) because Winnie follows her all around. They love each other so much!
One day she got halfway under our bed and was just watching tv.
Peyton is pretty much done with baby food and will only eat the fruits now. We have been letting her try different foods and all she wants is whatever is on our plates. She has had chicken noodle soup, spaghetti, lasagna, scrambled eggs, pasta salad, just to name a few. We went to Carraba's a couple of weeks ago and she was in Heaven with their mashed potatoes! The people at the table next to us kept talking about her and how cute she was. Here was her first real meal of spaghetti.

Would you like some Daddy?
We also went to Lara's baby shower a couple of weeks ago! We have been friends since the first grade! I wasn't going to bring Peyton, but Lara wanted to see her. She let her hold her for the first 10 minutes or so and was totally fine...then her attitude quickly changed:) Here's the cute picture of them I stole from Lara's blog!
She also found a new friend. We went to a little family gathering last weekend and there was a little girl there who was only about 3 weeks older than Peyton.
If this doesn't make you smile, I don't know what will:)
What a little peach!
I went into to check on Peyton while she was napping and thought it was funny to see her sleeping like this because I sometimes fall asleep in the same position. Like mother, like daughter:)
She chased this plastic star out of her room and down the hall...everytime she got it she would throw it and crawl to get it.
It kept her entertained for a bit...until she saw my feet and wanted to play with my toes. That didn't last long because I wouldn't let her eat them! Hopefully we don't have one of those kids who bite their toenails! I know, GROSS!
Kenny and I started softball again. Friday night we had our first double header and won both! I was kinda nervous to play because it's been a season, with the exception of a game or two, but I hit all seven times I was up to bat! My body definitely felt the results of all that running I did the next morning and Sunday was even worse! But it was a lot of fun! We actually are playing in two leagues in the next couple weeks and can't wait! This one just started earlier. It's going to be a lot of fun! My dad came so that he could keep an eye on P and she got cranky a few times so we had to switch the batting order so Kenny and I weren't right next to each other in the line-up. That way one of us took care of her when she was having a meltdown! Here she is after the game still awake at almost 11:00! Her sleep schedule has been a little messed up lately so we try to keep her up as late as possible. The 3:30-4 in the morning Peyton alarm clock just wasn't working for us!
